Today was a BATTLE. Today was a MENTAL BATTLE, a MENTAL STRUGGLE.
Today was an extreme test. Not sure why but, from time to time, I tend to spend my brain cells worried about the lives of others, not so much that it keeps me from taking care of myself and my responsibilities but enough to overthink it. Tokz tends to overthink A LOT! At various times I tried stepping away from my desk at work, talking to my parents, and/or praying. While it did help a lot, by the end of the day I was mentally drawn. As rough as it is to negate these constant life and personal issues, I think it was important for me to go through this today. Like I stated earlier, this was a test, and an important one nonetheless. My goal is when it happens again (because it will) is that I can recognize it and successfully push it to the side. In the end, it is all mental. With that being said, I am going to leave you here. My team is playing their last game of the season and it is a MUST WIN in order for us to get into the playoffs. GO PISTONS!
