Project Description: Served as Creative Director and Photographer for The Head That Wears The Crown: Black Women’s Headwear From Slavery to Freedom, an exhibition curated by Kyra March for the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum. I led the visual direction and photography for the exhibition, including a portrait series featuring local community members modeling heritage headwear. The exhibition explored the cultural, historical, and spiritual significance of Black women’s hats from slavery through modern liberation and was nationally recognized with a 2025 Award of Excellence from the American Association for State and Local History.
