ERG Strategy | Inclusion, Belonging & Community Building

Role: ERG Program Lead & Community Strategist

Year: 2025 – Ongoing

Project Description: I lead BASF’s Employee Resource Group program across the U.S. and Canada, partnering with ERG leaders and executive sponsors to develop strategies, programming, and experiences that strengthen employee engagement, belonging, professional development, and community connection.

My work includes identifying and supporting national ERG leaders, engaging VP-level and senior executive sponsors, overseeing governance, budgets, reporting, and program effectiveness, and creating opportunities for collaboration across employee communities. I also coordinate national ERG leadership meetings and enterprise-wide initiatives designed to increase visibility, participation, mentoring, networking, and development.

Beyond community programming, I position ERGs as a strategic business resource that supports recruitment, retention, employee experience, and culture. I regularly partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to connect ERG activity to broader organizational priorities, while using employee communities as a source of authentic stories that help showcase BASF’s culture, people, and opportunities.

Through ongoing measurement, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, I help ensure the ERG program remains both meaningful to employees and aligned with the needs of the business.
