Employee Advocacy & Community Engagement | BASF

Role: Employee Experience & Engagement Partner

Year: Ongoing

Project Description: In partnership with BASF’s University Recruitment team, I support annual orientation experiences for interns and employees entering the Professional Development Program (PDP) and Leadership Development Program (LDP), helping new employees build connections to BASF’s culture and internal communities from the beginning of their journey.

My primary focus is developing the ERG Fair, an onboarding experience that introduces new employees to BASF’s Employee Resource Groups and connects them with communities aligned to their interests, professional development goals, and opportunities for involvement. By bringing ERG leaders and new employees together early in the onboarding experience, the program creates an immediate pathway for networking, community participation, mentorship, and belonging beyond an employee’s immediate team.

I also help build and manage BASF’s employer brand advocacy community, identifying and recruiting employees who can serve as authentic voices for the organization. I partner with these employee champions to capture, produce, and amplify their stories across social media and internal communications, showcasing BASF’s culture, career opportunities, and employee experience.

To strengthen continued participation, we focus on recognizing and empowering employee advocates, creating opportunities for employees to contribute their perspectives, increase their visibility, and become recurring participants in BASF’s employer brand storytelling.
